On the 21st December, it was customer appreciation day at work and part of the deal was that everyone had to cook something for the customers... I decided to cook some Amish Loaves or Friendship cakes... they are the same really! I cooked lots of them, all the same base but 6 different styles: plain, sugar, cinammon, cranberries, marble with Nutella and chocolate bar!!! Mmmhhhh! Jeff even brought some at work and we kept a couple for home too :)

Then on the same night we had Jeff's Christmas Party! And what a party that was :) We dressed up nicely and had a lot of compliments on my outfit which was really nice! Thank God we had a hotel room booked because I couldn't follow Jeff who finished at 7am... I was even wondering if it was worth for him to go to bed at that time or if we should just go home! He was too tired to make a decision at that time... so we stayed!I don't have any pictures of the party unfortunately but that was a fun night! (Traduction a suivre)

Jeff and I won a free ski trip to Kicking Horse with Backside Tours! It was awesome!!! The weather was really good and we managed to ski for two days non-stop... When I say non-stop, well let me rephrase that... I guess I wasn't up to par on the fitness side, so it was pretty hard on the legs... but boy that was fun :) We had well deserved breaks at the Eagle's Eye restaurant at the top of the mountain... the chef is fantastic, sure it is more expensive that the pizza  you can get at the bottom of the slopes but it is totally worth it! The desert platter to share was so divine that we had to order the same dish the next day :) All in all, a very good weekend, can't wait to go there again (next trip to Kicking Horse is planned for March)!
