The other day, I was watching the Food Network and I saw this guy making some marshmallows... I didn't even think that was possible to produce the thing at home and was surprised to see how easy it seems to make. I was kind of skeptical about the whole process since you never know how many takes it took to make it look so perfect on TV. So, I decided to go for i and guess what??? they were awesome!!! I can't believe the result was so nice, the colour, the texture and even the taste was very close to what you can buy in an artisanal candy shop. It is way better than the industrial version from the supermarket. I was well impressed! So now I will improvise with new flavours and colours and see how it goes :)

L'autre jour, en regardant le Food Network, j'ai vu un gars faire de la guimauve... je ne savais pas que c'etait possible de faire ca a la maison surtout avec autant de facilite. J'etais tout de meme sceptique en ce qui concerne le resultat vu qu'on ne sait jamais combien de fois ca a ete filme pour que ce soit aussi parfait. Mais j'ai decide de me lancer et devinez quoi??? C'etait impeccable!!! Je n'arrive toujours pas a croire que le resultat etait aussi bien, la couleur, la texture et meme le gout etait tres similaire a guimauve artisanale que l'on peut trouver dans le commerce.  Cela n'a rien a voir avec la vesion industrielle du supermarche. Ca m'a impressione! Maintenant, il n'y a plus qu'a improviser avec les gouts et les couleurs et voir comment ca va rendre :)

My little niece was born on January 6th and she is just adorable :) I was sent a few pictures of course but the best thing was when I saw her live when Xavier put the webcam on... That was awesome! I can't wait to meet her (hopefully) in June when I return to France/Germany for the wedding part 2.

Ma petite niece est nee le 6 Janvier et elle est adorable :) J'ai recu des photos evidemment mais c'etait carrement mieux quand Xavier a branche la webcam et que je l'ai vue en live... C'etait super! J'ai hate de la renconter au mois de Juin j'espere quand on rentrera en France/Allemagne pour la 2eme partie du mariage.
